Sabeeha’s journey from Pakistan to the United States is a testament to resilience, courage, and a commitment to making a difference in the world.

Sabeeha is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir Threading My Prayer Rug: One Woman’s Journey from Pakistani Muslim to American Muslim, which was short-listed for the 2018 William Saroyan International Prize for Writing and received an Honorable Mention for Spirituality by the San Francisco Book Festival Awards. Her powerful narrative offers readers a unique window into her experiences as a Muslim woman in America and highlights her journey of self-discovery, faith, and identity. Her memoir was also featured in major outlets like The Wall Street Journal and Salon.com.

In addition to her writing, Sabeeha co-authored We Refuse to Be Enemies: How Muslims and Jews Can Make Peace, One Friendship at a Time with Walter Ruby. Her work advocates for interfaith dialogue and bridges cultural divides—an initiative that has earned her the respect of various communities.

Sabeeha’s extensive experience in the healthcare industry, alongside her dedication to autism advocacy, exemplifies her commitment to service.
