Mubeen Siddiqui (she/her), recipient of the Dean’s Medal of Honor for academic excellence, has an MBA from Northland University, Montreal and a Fellowship with honors in business administration from the Canadian School of Management, Toronto. She holds founding board memberships at the Desi American Women’s Network (DAWN) and at Muslim Volunteers for New York, Inc. (MV4NY). At Dawn, she is currently involved with foundational and policy matters as well as strategic planning initiatives.
At MV4NY, she is primarily responsible for public relations initiatives, strategic planning, grant management and a key liaison with NYC Parks, City Meals on Wheels, the Pajama Program, Room to Grow and ETM among others. She also serves as liaison for several state and city officials/agencies as well as leading schools across the city. She has been engaged in community service throughout her professional life, and also helps her two young daughters manage their charitable initiatives.
Previously, Mubeen was the Director of Capital Markets at Altria Group Inc, where she was responsible for a wide variety of functions in the Capitals Markets arena including management and coordination of multi-billion dollar global and domestic debt issuances, debt and equity derivatives and credit facilities. She also participated in M&A activity including the Nabisco acquisition and the Kraft Foods Inc., IPO. Prior to that, she worked at Texaco Inc. as a senior analyst where she worked in the capital markets arena, corporate finance issues, structured financing, and marine leasing among other things.
